ABOUT US

The KoněČesky.cz website serves as a platform for accessing sources of information that are not available in Czech, including references to source articles and information about the most frequently translated authors. What led me to create the site, and to translate articles with horse topics in general, was the need to make a lot of information available to people who do not have access to it, whether because of language barriers, lack of time, etc... The aim is to make this information available to all people who are interested.


WHAT WE DO?

Since the beginning of our operation (2018), our main goal has been to make quality information available in foreign languages to the general equine public in the Czech Republic and to help owners improve the welfare of their horses through education. Initially, we did this only in the form of translated articles and videos, which is still an important part of this project. However, since then we have moved on and have started to organise and host professional courses and seminars with foreign and Czech lecturers and experts. In 2020, we also organised a pilot edition of the Online Summit project, which we hope will continue on an annual basis. We also produce our own content, in the form of articles for the magazine Horses and People, with which we have long collaborated, and webinars, which are available to our supporters on the Patreon platform.
